Four Panel Window with Power Orange is a ink rubbing of a window pane. Anna Barriball has recreated the window’s frame by placing a piece of paper over its surface and painstakingly drawn over it in pen. Its ink-laden surface and glowing orange underside gives the drawing form and transforms it into a sculptural object. Barriball works with drawing, film, sculpture and installation to create works that focus on the overlooked details of everyday environments.
