Empowering young people through social enterprise with Social Ark
We’re celebrating 50 years of Pride at Hiscox with sponsorship of some key UK events and initiatives, as well as supporting social events and discussion for employees in our offices around the world, organised by our global Pride employee network.
Our pledge to support the global response so far stands at more than $7 million, with contributions from our business and also from our charitable foundations in the UK and US, the Hiscox Foundation.
The Hiscox Pan-African employee network plays a really important role in supporting employees of African-descent. Here we explore their year so far as well as what they’ve got planned further ahead.
Supporting the mental health and well-being of our employees is the top priority for our award-winning WeMind employee network.
Our first Impact Report shows that we donated over $1 million to charity and completed nearly 2,000 volunteering hours in 2019.
We’re proud to be named in the top five of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in 2020 following the results of its annual awards.

After completing their eight week summer internships in our offices - including York, Colchester and London - we asked some of our 2019 interns about the useful new skills they learnt, and about the areas where they’ve developed.
