Bronek Masojada, Chief Executive Officer of Hiscox, was last night named Outstanding Contributor of the year for a Risk Carrier at Insurance Insider’s annual honours, the biggest of the London Market awards events.
Bronek’s award recognises contribution to the development of the insurance sector, and was given by an panel of judges for dedicated commitment and hard work that has benefited the industry, clients and colleagues over the last year and consistently throughout his career.
Introducing the award, Mark Geoghegan, Managing Director of Insurance Insider, commended Bronek as a “bold leader who over decades has consistently devoted time to head up bodies and spearhead initiatives in the markets in which his business operates. His counsel and opinion are highly sought after.”
Outstanding Contributor for Distribution was won by Greg Case, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aon, and the Lifetime Achiever award was picked up by Mike McGavick, Chief Executive Officer of XL Group.
Commenting on the win, Bronek said: “It’s an honour to be in such esteemed company, and this award is a reflection of the hard work of everyone at Hiscox. I’d like to thank everyone for their dedication”.
