Eduardo Paolozzi was one of the most inventive and prolific British artists who came to prominence after the Second World War. Chiefly a sculptor, he was also a skilled printmaker whose collage-based prints are considered some of the finest examples of Pop Art – a style he was instrumental in shaping. Bunk portfolio consist of images cut out from American magazines that the artist collected from G.I.s during the war. Featuring adverts for television shows, food products and other consumer goods, Bunk documents 1950s popular culture and is considered the prototypical work of Pop Art.
