London, UK (12 May, 2023) – Specialist global insurer Hiscox has announced the promotions of Lorraine Mackey to Line Underwriter – Oil and Gas, and Louis Cozon to Line Underwriter - Power and Renewables. They will lead Hiscox London Market’s energy offering together, which will also benefit from the appointment of Tim Welsh as Senior Energy Underwriter.
Lorraine and Louis have over 25 years of combined energy insurance experience and currently report to Hiscox London Market’s Chief Underwriting Officer, Paul Lawrence. They will manage an overall energy team of seven underwriters, based in Hiscox’s 22 Bishopsgate office in London. The team will now include Tim Welsh, who brings a wealth of industry experience following a 28-year career at MS Amlin, including as Global Product Leader Energy.
