Nathalie Du Pasquier’s work blurs the boundaries between fine art and design. In 1979, Du Pasquier moved to Milan where she became a founding member of the influential Memphis design group. Despite her design success, in 1987 she shifted focus to painting. Her paintings and drawings feature abstract shapes and bold colours, and explore the spatial relationships between objects.
